The Wait is Over: Somerset West is Officially Fully Licensed! 🍻⛳️
After a long battle of paperwork, patience, and persistence, we have huge news for the Fore & Fine community: our Somerset West branch officially has its liquor license!
Whether you're coming in to dial in your yardages on the launch monitors or just want a cold drink after a long day at work, you can now enjoy a fully stocked bar right inside the venue.
We didn't just get a license—we completely elevated the space. We’ve upgraded our bar area with a sleek, glossy finish, expanded our seating, and stocked the fridges with all your favorite beers, spirits, and cold drinks. It’s built to be the ultimate 19th-hole hangout.
New Walk-In Operating Hours (No Booking Required!)
While our simulator bays still operate on our standard online booking system, we are officially opening our doors for walk-in bar visits and casual drinks, whether there are golf bookings or not:
- Weekdays (Mon – Fri): Open from 15:00 to 19:00 for after-work beers and social drinks.
- Weekends (Sat – Sun): Open from 11:00 to 14:00 for weekend hangouts and cold ones.
Pop in after work, catch up with friends, or come hang out in the lounge—no simulator reservation needed to grab a drink!
What About Montague Gardens?
For our Montague Gardens family, we are actively in the thick of the licensing process for that venue. Our goal is to get the Montague Gardens license finalized within 2026!
In the meantime, Montague Gardens remains BYOB (Bring Your Own Alcohol) with a R50 corkage fee per person.
