January’s Mulligan Mondays took us straight to Las Vegas, where players battled it out across two iconic courses — and what a way to start the year. We teed off the month at Bear’s Best, followed by a packed second event at the legendary Wynn Golf Club. Two world-class courses, two very different nights, and one shared leaderboard connecting Somerset West and Montague Gardens in true Mulligan Mondays fashion.
Â
Event 1 – Bear’s Best (Las Vegas)
Our first Mulligan Monday of the year had a bit of unexpected drama. Due to a chemical leakage incident in the Montague Gardens area, a few teams were unfortunately evacuated and couldn’t complete the night with us. Despite the disruption, the spirit stayed high and the golf was exceptional. A massive shoutout to Team Stingers: Shot an incredible 8 under par
- Started with a +2 team handicap
- Finished the night on –6 overall
An outstanding performance and a proper way to set the tone for 2026 Mulligan Mondays.
Â
Event 2 – Wynn Golf Club (Las Vegas)
The second event was significantly fuller, with more teams entering and the energy at both venues on another level. This time, we had two winning teams — one from Somerset West and one from Montague Gardens — showing how competitive the shared leaderboard really is. Both teams: Shot 4 under par
- Started with a +2 handicap
- Finished on –2 overall
A perfect example of how tight the competition has become.
Â
The New Handicap System (And Why It Works)
January also marked the introduction of our new handicap system, and it worked incredibly well. We’re now improving it even further:
Your team handicap will be calculated by taking both players’ handicaps and using the average as the team handicap.
This makes the competition:
- Fairer
- More competitive
- More strategic when choosing your partner
And most importantly — it keeps every team in the game until the final holes.

The Mulligan Monday Twist: 18 Holes, 6 Crazy Rules
Every Mulligan Monday round includes 6 special rule holes that change the way you play. Some of the rules featured in January:
- Tee-Flip – Let the tee decide your fate
- Worst Ball – Pressure like you’ve never felt before
- Love is Rough – Trouble is part of the game
- Stop the Wheel – Pure chaos, pure fun
These rule holes are what make Mulligan Mondays completely different to a normal round of golf. It’s competitive, but it’s loud, social, and unpredictable. One Leaderboard. Two Venues. Every Second Monday.
Mulligan Mondays runs every second Monday at: Fore&Fine Somerset West & Montague Gardens
Both venues play the same course. Both venues compete on one shared leaderboard. Which means you’re not just playing the people in the room — you’re playing the whole city.

Spots Are Filling Up Fast - Something we noticed in January:
Bookings come in almost immediately after each event finishes. Players are already securing their spots for the next one before the night is even over. If you’re keen to experience Mulligan Mondays, don’t wait.
Mulligan Mondays is quickly becoming one of the most loved events at Fore&Fine — competitive golf, crazy rules, great people, and a format you won’t find anywhere else.
See you on the next tee.
